Is your skin 'Spring' ready?
Spring is here! I heart spring mainly because that means the dreary, rainy, damp, icicle season of winter is over. Me and cold temperatures don’t get along very well AT ALL! So spring for me is a time of awakening, renewal and warmer temps. Yay! I can finally pull out the sandals and sun dresses and strut. But who are we kidding, we all know that in the winter we cover up everything and neglect it. So, here’s what you need to do in order to get refresh those cobwebs on your body and skin that you have hibernate.
Exfoliate: Exfoliating works to help rid your skin of any dry, rough layers left over from the winter. New skin cells can flourish and your skin can flourish and breathe. Yes…set it free!!! You will want a scrub that is not abrasive, but at the same time it is rough enough to get the job done, and if it leaves you moisturized, heck that’s even better. Jays Precious Cargo whipped sugar scrub exfoliates and moisturizes at the same time. It’s a time saver for all ladies that care about their skin but might not have time to get out of the shower, sit down and rub their body down bit by bit. Knock 2 birds out with this scrub. Another good form of exfoliation for the face is yogurt. Yes you heard right. Wash your face, spread some all natural yogurt on your face, once it dries, simply wash it off with warm water. I’m telling you this works wonders. Get glowing! Get your feet sandal ready: Soak, Scrub, Buff, and Rub. Here is a whole foot repair system that you can purchase for only $27 and will have your feet soft and smooth in no time.
Switch up your skincare routine: I switch up my skincare routine because sometimes my skin gets complacent with the same ole thing. So hey, give it a switch, and you might experience different results. I like to use lighter moisturizers in the spring than what I would use in the winter.
Spring cleaning: Clean your brushes as they can carry unwanted germs, and toss out makeup that is 6 months old. Old makeup can host a buildup of bacteria which can lead to clogged pores and skin.
