Do you use detergent or soap on your skin? Weird question, right? Well, most of the commercial brand 'items' can't legally name their items soaps because they are indeed NOT SOAP. If the item is labeled 'beauty bar, moisture bar' or anything of the sort, that is a flag that you are using a detergent and not real soap. The difference is that SOAP is produced from the chemical reaction called saponification. Saponification occurs when lye and oils intermingle. Don't worry, there is no lye in a finished bar of soap, which is why it is not listed on the ingredient label. A detergent bar contains synthetic lathering chemicals such as Sodium laureth sulfate, or sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES). We could go on and on with this subject, but we're sure you don't have that type of time. So, now that the short soaping lesson is over, know that our SOAP is handmade the natural way. No chemicals, just good oils that will moisturize your skin NATURALLY. Make sure you continue to visit the site often as we recieve many requests for different types of soap. Oh and not only are these bars natural, they are also a whopping 6-6.5oz. We believe in giving our customers more bang for their buck. So take a look around and shop away!
