Jays Precious Cargo is a company that was established in 2006 after the owner, Jeramian “Jay” Davenport, became dissatisfied with the body products available to her. She noticed that drugstore products became increasingly expensive, while packages grew smaller, and the products required multiple applications throughout the day just to serve their purpose. After researching ingredients, she came to the conclusion that these products are full of chemicals and preservatives. She was inspired to create products that would last throughout the day, smell delicious, and nurture the skin with only natural ingredients. All of the products made by Jays Precious Cargo are handmade with no preservatives.
In 2010, due to the demands of motherhood, school, wedding planning, and a full time job, the production of Jays Precious Cargo was put on hiatus. However, the demand for the product steadily grew, so Jay is back and better than ever! The catalog has been expanded to include the classic scents, along with some brand new ones...all of which have the same great quality, texture, and natural ingredients.
